Teen Summer Reading Program
Every
insect family on the form represents 60 minutes of reading time. Every time you
complete 60 minutes of reading simply “collect” one of the insects for your
summer insect collection by putting a check mark in the box next to the insect
family name. Each insect counts as one chance at a prize. You can “collect” up
to 10 insects for up to 10 chances at great prizes (see prizes below). We will
collect this sheet when it is completed. Sheets must be turned in by no later
than August 16. Prizes will be picked the week of August 18.

Teen Summer Reading Programs
Extreme BUG Jewelry
Come
to the library and make your very own resin jewelry containing insects. You’ve
seen them around...clear resin necklaces with different bugs and flowers in
them. Now you can make your own. The program is for teens 12 to 17 and will be
held twice.
The dates are: Thursday, June 19, 6:30pm, or Thursday,
August 7, 6:30 pm Registration is required. To register call 323-7705.
Wii Game @ the library
Into gaming with your friends? This summer the library will again be offering
gaming sessions with a Nintendo Wii. The program will be offered from
7pm to 9pm on the following Friday nights:
June 20, July 18, August 1 and 15. No registration
required. This year games include: Guitar Hero III and Dance Dance Revolution
TEEN FOOD FEAR FACTOR!
Ever say, “I’d eat anything.” Well here is your chance to prove it. Find a
friend, and sign up as a team of two for TEEN FOOD FEAR FACTOR.
Teams will compete to see who will eat the most, the grossest, the fastest.
The members of the winning team will each win a $50 Lycoming Mall gift
certificate. The runner up team will each win a $20 Wal-Mart gift certificate.
Last year was so successful we have expanded the competition.

Creature Features
The library will be showing the following movies this summer at 7pm in the
Family Place Room. There will be pizza and popcorn. This program is free and
for teens 12 to 17 only. No registration required.
