Dr. Kenneth L. Cooper
Dr. Cooper was first appointed to the James V. Brown Library Board in 1976 by the Williamsport City Council.  Since that time he has served in every officer position on the Board.  The new Children’s Wing was his dream and he has worked tirelessly to make this a reality.  In addition, during his long career as a physician he personally delivered hundreds of the library’s customers!  He is both loved and respected by the entire library “family” and community as one of our brightest volunteer points of light. 
Peter B. Koch’s
Mr. Koch's craftsmanship can be seen every day by people visiting the library.  In July 1985 it was front-page news when he removed the stained glass dome in the rotunda reading room to repair and restore it.  His recreations of the original lighting fixtures in that room have preserved the original beauty of the century old facility.  He is currently preparing the stained glass windows he created for the Genetti Hotel for their new home in the Children’s Wing.
