The Lycoming Law Library holds "Bisel's Pennsylvania local domestic relations rules of court : the collected local domestic relations court rules and forms." Central Region of Pennsylvania. The call number is R346.748 BIS 2009. Note that this is a Reference item, meaning that it cannot be checked out of the Library, but that copies can be made.

Custody

Lycoming County rules begin on page 455 [the yellow sticky] with Actions for Support, and continue on page 466 with Rules for Action of Divorce or Annulment of Marriage.

Custody as defined by Pennsylvania statute at 23 PaCSA §5302 is Legal, Partial, Physical or Shared.

Legal custody is the right to make major decisions affecting the beat interests of the minor child.

Partial custody is the right to takes possession of a child from the custodial parent for a certain period of time.

Physical custody is possession and control of the child. Shared custody assures the child of frequent and continuing contact with both parents.

In Pennsylvania, “Visitation” does NOT include the right to remove the minor child from control of the custodial parent.
